Dim Sum Chinese Restaurant

If you are a foreign student or worker like me and you have a bad homesick, I’m sure that you will love this Chinese restaurant! Dim Sum Restaurant is a Cantonese, Seafood and Dim Sum Chinese Cuisine down in the middle of London Road, Sheffield. There are suitable for people to ‘Yum Cha’ or having some Dim Sum there as the environment is exquisite and also are in Chinese style. If you’re starving but not feel like having a heavy meal but still want to try out something different, Dim Sum Restaurant is a good idea for you where they can satisfy your needs and desires. Brian, customers in the restaurant who is having lunch with his friends. He said they have been coming here for years and the food never ever disappoint them. It’s always fresh, perfectly cooked and delicious. It has become the only Chinese they ate in Sheffield!

Brenda’s Fish & Chips

As you’re familiar with Sheffield eateries and you will have heard of Brenda’s. A small but friendly restaurant with cafe tables which is just a couple of minutes from the Sheffield Moor Market. Brenda will have some different promotions and it is an old brand which is supported by the local residents. It is very reasonable prices and it has become the best chippy in the city center. For example, their cod and chips only in 5 pounds and it is a large portion for me. Moreover, the service is quick and the staff is friendly. Highly recommended for you all!

Cosmo

Cosmo Sheffield is a buffet restaurant and it is perfectly situated for visitors to the city. It is close to the town hall, peace gardens, shops as well as being in good company with other big chains on Millennium Square. Cosmo is like a food theatre as they create a sociable and buzzing atmosphere. There are offering an abundance of world cuisines which is suitable for most of the people who come from other countries. For example, Asia food like crispy duck rolls, Chinese food like Guangzhou fried rice, sushi, teppanyaki, spaghetti and a variety of desserts. Cosmo also serves with free-flow soft drinks or can try their beers, wines, and cocktails.

Cosmo Sheffield is a great place for people to gatherings and parties. Steven, 23 years old, a designer in Sheffield who really love to have a date in Cosmo. He said ‘I came here with my family and we had a lovely time here. The staff is lovely and the food is good. The best thing is everyone found something they liked and Cosmo did this. Will be back because it’s a great place and brilliant value.’

Howard is near to the Sheffield Hallam University so it is an ideal lunch place for the students. Howard always served with their good food, good drinks, and good service. If you’re a big portion person, Howard will never disappoint you as they have an option to make your burger into XL sizes. You can with your friends to spend crazy weekends here as it is a good place to chill and chit chat. There are also different weekly offers that are sure to keep you on your toes. For example,

Hideout is Sheffield Hallam Students’ Union bar which is serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner at student-friendly prices. If you’re SHU students, then it is a worthy place to come as all the foods and drinks are at a very reasonable price. There are also including vegetarian, vegan and halal options so no worry if you’re a vegetarian!

Coffee Union

Coffee Union is a space to eat, drink and hang out with friends or meet new friends. They have a variety of selection with breakfast and lunchtime treat such as a range of fresh homemade sandwiches, pizza, salads and so on. SHU card is available to paid NUS Totum cards as it is so convenient to all of you.
